Batman Theme – Jan & Dean – Authentic Sheet Music

Batman Theme

Jan Berry and George Tipton’s original music score, used by Wrecking Crew studio musicians to record the original track in 1966.

Jan produced a version of Neal Hefti’s “Batman Theme” for the Jan & Dean Meet Batman LP. This arrangement pays homage to Nelson Riddle, the well-known composer and bandleader who wrote the music for the first two seasons of the Batman television series in 1966.

Transcribed by Mark A. Moore from Jan Berry’s music archive, in association with his estate. Moore is the author of Dead Man’s Curve: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Life of Jan Berry (McFarland 2021) and The Jan & Dan Record (McFarland 2016).

Perfect for high school, college, or local ensembles that want to tackle this contemporary take on the television classic from 1966.

Note: This arrangement is classified as Jazz Ensemble because it is the closest classification offered by the ArrangeMe platform.
