Jan began work on "Only A Boy," "Girl, You're Blowing My Mind," "Yakety Yak," "Stay" and "In The Still Of The Night" prior to his accident. But, and Mark Moore can clarify, The name for the album was not established yet.

I got the above from your earlier post. Is that correct???

It's "Girl, You're Blowin' My Mind" . . . in terms of a Carnival track that most wouldn't think of as dating before the accident. But the basic track was first recorded in March 1966. Lots of additions and revisions later.

Track-wise - Tijuana is a lift from the March '64 "Little Old Lady" session. But the vocals were recorded in '67.

And on the back cover, when "Carnival" is upside down, the "V" is rightside up . . . Kinda goes along with the "yin and yang" motif on the front cover and disc tray.
