Having studied acquired brain injuries, i feel that Jan did not really get the support that he needed,given the challenges he had with his brain injury, and it's severity, Dean complained on numerous occasions, that he could not cope with Jan and the complexity of his condition.  Jan showed tremendous courage to be able to overcome such complexities in order to perform again, and this was down to his so called egotism.  Also in several articles, Jan is reported as having certain flaws in his character, but i'm sure that Dean is not as squeeky clean as he makes out. No one is perfect. Just felt i had to show my support for Jan.

i ve always given dean credit for touring with jan after the brain injury. It was a way jan could earn some good money,and it was the best thing that jan in his recovery. Dean could have turned his back, he didnt.

if there's any good to jan brain injury,it was to show other disabled people, you can achieve your goals in life,and not locked away,

well, he certainly achieved a lot after the accident. He showed that life goes on. and he opened that medical center, which was great!

Jan was, without a doubt truly an inspiration to others with disabilities,he showed that anything can be achieved regardless  of the severity of a disability, i wish i could have met him, and he was gorgeous too!!!
