Thanks for posting and reading this.  It was a pleasure to speak with Dean and get some of the inside scoop.  I became a fan as a kid and have remained one well into my 40's.  I found him to be witty and insightful.  Understandably, there are some issues that are a bit touchy but he continues to keep the J&D name alive and for that I'm very thankful!!

DON'T YOU JUST KNOW IT / Happy Birthday Al Jardine!!

Beach Boys' Al Jardine turns 70 today...following fellow band mates Brian Wilson and Bruce Johnston who hit that milestone while also on their current 50th Anniversary tour!!

If you missed the chance to see them on this tour, here's your chance.  Doin' It Again is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray on August 28th.  Included among the live segments are new interviews and archival performances...some never before seen!

Found out from Dean that June 10th Veterans benefit went really well.  They raised almost $100,000!!

Dean sent over some pics that Bruce Johnston took of him when he got on stage with The Beach Boys to do "Barbara Ann" in Irvine, CA on June 3rd.
