Just received 'Jan & Dean Meet Batman' UK Mono LP EX/EX from Ebay UK.

Just got to get 'Drag City' US LP & 'The Little Old Lady From Pasadena' US LP.  That will be all the original 60's albums I want, just 'Carnival Of Sound' (Rhino) LP to get.

Thanks ripplewine for the eil.com suggestion will check them out for a copy of Batman or any others.  I have dropped on quite a few original vinyls lately but gone a bit quiet now, just as well need to hold a bit of money back!

Got 'Surf City & Other Swingin' Cities' original mono UK LP from Ebay for £3.99 plus shipping, graded as 'G/G' but was closer to VG/EX so very pleased :)

Many thanks Salzburg Surf Scene for the info, much appreciated.  Such a shame that more hasn't been written.

With regard to the supposed inaccuracies, I imagine each author (including Mark Moore) is convinced that their work is 'the definitive story' based on the understanding that they think they have.  However the 'real' definitive story is with those that were involved and this may never be revealed, unless it comes from them 1st hand, and even then who can say what they reveal is true?

Having read my 'Carnival of Sound' CD booklet many times, I wondered what Jan & Dean publications/books are available?  I am eagerly awaiting Mark Moore's two publications but in the meantime could anyone give me some others including title & author?  I am not going to get hung up on inaccuracies so these are not an issue.  Many thanks.

Jan & Dean - Filet of Soul - Original Mono UK LP
Jan & Dean - Folk'n Roll - Original Mono UK LP
Beach Boys - Christmas Album - Original Mono UK LP
Beach Boys - Smiley Smile - Original UK Stereo LP

Just 'Surf City' & 'Batman' to get on original UK LP by Jan & Dean now.  Anyone own a copy of Batman on UK LP?  It is listed as released in the UK by the official Jan & Dean website but haven't come across one yet.
