The link doesn't work anymore, and I can't find the podcast when I search the RR site. Is it still possible to hear the interview? Thanks in advance...

Yeah, near that curve is where I thought it probably happened, based on what I've read. It was odd how quiet and nondescript it was. Just a residential through road. I'd always pictured it as looking more like the Sunset Strip. As it would in a movie.

I hope you've got a good agent, then! What's the status of your book? ETA?

I'm sure you've announced all this stuff, but it was before I got here. I'd like to read it... but what will you do if you don't get a deal? I hope you'll self-publish rather than let it languish.

I know this is a bit of a hijack, but I have a lot of old rare vinyl releases, and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good one-stop place to get an idea of what they're worth nowadays. Not that I really want to part with them (and they probably haven't appreciated that much, given that there don't seem to be that many of us!), but I'm curious.

Thanks in advance.

These are two originals - but written and recorded in attempt to sound like old J&D songs. "New Girl In The Neighborhood" and "The Big Kahuna". They should be the first two songs on the page.

Hey, I like these. Do you ever release this stuff? Hey, Fountains of Wayne do it!

OK, it's a little macabre, but I was in LA this week and went to the approximate spot where Jan had the wreck -- Whittier just south of Sunset.

Does anyone know exactly how many houses down it happened?

Has anyone else been by there?

Do you mean could I send the one I have to Germany? Sure. Private-message me if you want to discuss it.

I wanted to ask -- what do people think of this record? It's sort of growing on me in an odd way.

I get the idea they never sang any of the songs on tour -- anyone know anything about that? Seems like he'd have wanted to.

I've got an extra -- not the memorial edition. I live in the UK (am away in the US now, back on 16 July). PM me if you like. The CD is here in the US with me but I could bring it. :)

And yet DVDs are for sale online, if you look.

Illegal bootlegs.

Yes, of course... just saying. :)

I got it on Amazon (can't recall if UK or US, but I think it's only available on one of them). It was cheap.

Thanks! It's such a brilliant clip -- can't wait to see the whole pilot.

I might get flamed for this, but... where did this song come from? Only the TV pilot? Or was it on an album?

I know I have it on vinyl, because I know the song, but my vinyl has been in storage far away for a very very long time, and Google won't tell me. Sorry if it's something obvious.

YouTube has a lovely video of it...

This album being released so soon after my musical discovery is such a blessing - now I can't wait for the Jan Berry documentary!!Hang Loose.

Is there going to be a documentary? That would be so great.

I apologise if I'm being clueless, but I googled and didn't find anything about this.

For that matter, does anyone know what ever happened with the biography that someone was supposedly writing before Jan's death?
