CARNIVAL OF SOUND / My Carnival Of Sound Deluxe Edition Just Arrived!
« on: February 26, 2010, 04:18:00 PM »
It's unbelievable!  You get a lot for your money. The album cover is thick like a book and the labels on the vinyl and cd are so cool not to mention the booklet.  The sound will give you a whole new respect for these great songs.  I'll definitely be buying another to keep sealed as well as the individual CD.  Thanks to everyone involved in making this come true.

Does anyone remember this? I think I got it from Australia back in the early eighties.  It's pretty neat.

I have another one from this series with Batman sessions and Don't You Just Know It.

On May 14,1984 Jan Berry came to the small East Texas town where I grew up.  Imagine my surprise when I saw this advertised in the paper.  I wish I had told Jan when I met him that Elvis had played this same auditorium in 1955.  The article is in two parts because my scanner isn't big enough.

I have this old photo in my collection and wonder if this might be from the Carnival Of Sound sessions.  The back of the photo  is rubber stamped "Jasper Dailey."

DON'T YOU JUST KNOW IT / Save For A Rainy Day Japanese Mini LP
« on: January 02, 2010, 02:46:56 PM »
Just in case people might not know,  this came out last year I think.  The cardboard sleeve has the original artwork front and back with the Jan & Dean record logo on the bottom right hand corner. The disc has the orginal label as well.  It's prety cool.  I have one but need to get another so I have a sealed copy.
