"All The Hits: From Surf City To Drag City" is nice, but I wouldn't call it a "collection". More of a rarities disk.

I guess my favorite "collection" would be Golden Hits Volume Three.

I don't like that recently released mono singles collection. Just doesn't sound good and most of the songs on disk 1 aren't my thing. I traded mine in at FYE for $8.75 store credit... and nope I didn't even make a "backup" copy.

I bought mine new back when I was a kid. Had to special order it at the store. Still have it, mint condition with original sleeve.

Now that I have the CD I want the vinyl. Not to play, but because of that big booklet. Should have bought that in the first place and held off on the Chicago Quad DVD purchase for a month. I'll have to wait awhile. Hope it doesn't sell out in meantime.

I have a 2 track 15 IPS tape I put together years ago splicing pt.2 onto the end of pt.1 ... it sounds like one continuous song since I meticulously spliced it at the right spot before the fade out. I guess it would be easier to do this nowadays with digital editing. I used the mono version on the Anthology album (vinyl). At least I think that's where it came from.
