DON'T YOU JUST KNOW IT / Jan & Dean on the run (pilot)
« on: May 27, 2015, 12:29:41 PM »
I was wondering if the J&D pilot, the scene at San Diego Zoo, was filmed in February 1966.  The Beach Boys were at the Zoo on February 15th, to shoot for their Pet Sounds.  I was wondering if they all were there at the same time.

« on: February 13, 2015, 07:47:45 AM »
The song 'Taste of Rain' was written by Dean Torrence, but he used his mother's name on the label.  I am just curious why didn't he used his own name

DON'T YOU JUST KNOW IT / Save for a rainy day
« on: November 26, 2014, 03:14:18 PM »
I have just recently got the album 'Save For A Rainy Day' and I am aware that all songs were sung by Dean.  I like the song 'Yellow Balloon'.   I wanted to ask 2 questions.  Did this song cut the charts?  My second question is about the cover,  Is that Jan with Dean on the cover or Ken and Dean?

DON'T YOU JUST KNOW IT / Jan Berry - draft
« on: November 23, 2014, 05:43:23 PM »
This is constantly on my mind... when Jan had the accident back in 1965 and his bones were pretty much shattered that he almost lost his leg, and then he had cast for a months.. did he had pins in his leg?  I just wonder how well his leg healed and if he had any physical therapy.  I would thought that having a cast for such a long time and perhaps having this type of surgery, that he might would not passed through the actual physical.  Or was that not taken into consideration? How well was his leg healed by the time he went to talk to the military folks.  I am not knowledgeable about military stuff, but I was just wondering about this.
