Great concert, even my friends who aren't big J&D fans had a great time. They thought the concert sounded good and enjoyed hearing Dean talk.   Almost more fun to hear what he says between songs than the songs themselves. LOL

Talked to Dean before the concert, Man he is funny!

Surf City All-stars sounded great. Hope they and especially Dean, don't let summer end!

Looking forward to seeing Dean tonight at the Surf Ballroom, will thank him for letting you use that cool photo!

Hard to say, I'll have to listen to them again. Right now have Easy as 123 CD that I'm am listening to which is a pretty good compilation.  The whole collector series is great though.

Glad you had a good time!  At least Dean is out there doing it still, rather than not doing it. But I know what you mean.  Way back in 1986 at the World's biggest beach party,  where Jan and Dean were the headliners,  some people in the crowd commented that J and D played too many BB songs.  But apparently Dean must have listened to the suits that said "If you play more BB songs than J&D songs statistics show that you will get more people to come to your concert" or something like that.
Sometimes wished that they had more confidence in their own catalog of songs.  Oh well...

I really like that one too.  You actually get to hear them talk and  it doesn't appear to be scripted.  The  I found a girl 1965 doesn't have Jan and Dean in it but it sure has a lot of pretty girls and a nice song!

Thanks for sharing Mike!

I like them all of course, but one of my favorites is I found a girl.  Looks like it could of been done by Dean!  That would be I found a girl 1965.  Sorry I don't have a link. Mary has put some real nice ones on too.

Haven't listened to that album since the 80's but if I remember correctly, the song Big Pearl was ok.
