Beach Boys Quiz

I just took a Beach Boy quiz on Facebook. I'm so ashamed. I got a 28 out of 30. But that's still an A lol
Of course, one of the questions was which song did Brian write for Jan & Dean. Of course, the answer was Surf City. When I clicked on it, it said Correct. Brian Wilson GAVE Jan & Dean their only number 1 hit. Geez. I hate that!!

Jan made the song what it was . For the BB's it would've been another album cut.

Yes and it would have been a different song altogether. The intro and general chorus would have been close. But the versus and arrangements would have been different. And certainly the production would have been different. Brian was still using the BBs for the music.
