Jan and Dean Fan Club
« on: August 18, 2014, 07:47:56 AM »
Hey was anyone in the Jan and Dean Fan Club 80s 90s. I think it was called Surfun run by someone by the name of Lori Brown. When you joined you got a fridge magnet an I'd card and a signed photo of Jan and Dean, Silver Summer photo black and white. Anyone know if the photo was a print with the autographs on them already or if they were signed individually that is authentic.
Until next time

Yeah I still got some of the booklets. I think the fridge magnets gone.Got the I'd card. I think the photos just a print with signatures already on them. I think some of the ones I've seen on ebay are the same ones being passed off as authentic.
I remember joining soon after Jan released Second Wave got me interested in J and D again. There was a period there were I wasn't listening to J and D until I came accross the second wave cd by accident.
Until next time

Wally it's always been Klaus Wunderlich for me and I'm not being sarcastic. I don't listen to too much pop/rock music other than Jan and Dean and a couple of other bands and artists. Wunderlich is a legend up there with Jan and Dean and a couple of others.
Until next time

Surfun and Lori Brown...wow, long time since I thought of that club. I do believe I met Lori once. I don't remember the signed photo....I seem to remember having met her. I believe she knew Jan.
