That would be nice. But the release that I’m hoping for is the live Hullabaloo concert. I know we have portions of it in Filet of Soul. But I’d love a new album release of that entire Jan and Dean set!

I agree Jdman,

out of all the live albums thats the Album i d love to hear complete, It bugs me why so much ,material is stuck inside the vaults, Dean even said  to liberty records, about the material on popsicle lp, when they had unreleased tracks, which would have made the album a better seller. instead of having tracks thats been released on it,

How great would that be to hear the full live Hullabaloo concert with no editing or sound effects added. Just to hear A Beginning from An End would be worth the price of admission.

I agree. I don't know who holds the current ownership of Jan and Dean's music but the success of the Liberty singles and Mark's brilliant books surely suggests there is a market for this.
I still think a box set would be great.
There are loads of bootlegs with studio outtakes - the best of which, cleaned up, would show Jan's studio genius.

The song set list for the Hullabaloo concert is in Mark A Moore’s book, The Jan&Dean Record, page 267. Would have loved to hear a live A Beginning To An End.

Presumably the tapes exist.

This is all part of my content that we still need a Jan and Dean box set.

I did contact Dean by the surf city allstars website a few years ago, I was told dean has no plans of this at the moment,
Its a shame,as a box set is well overdue.
