The Collectors Series Vol 1-17

has anyone ever heard of these CDs? they are packed full of rare Jan and Dean material. I have 1-3 but that still leaves a lot more to go. Does anyone know where you can find them and the history about them? Thanks

I have no idea where they come from, but have picked up quite a few over the years. I've got

Collectors Series 01 - Pre-Liberty Years
Collectors Series 03 - Liberty Years 63-64
Collectors Series 04 - Liberty Years 1964
Collectors Series 08 - Warner Years Take 1
Collectors Series 09 - Warner Years Take 2
Collectors Series 10 - The Early 70's
Collectors Series 11 - The Mid 70's
Collectors Series 14 - Phase Two
Collectors Series 15 - Mike & Dean
Collectors Series 16 - A Decade To Remember

There is some pretty odd stuff on there, but its mostly very interesting. Would love to hear the stuff on vols 5, 6 and 7, which I assume would be the Folk n Roll, Filet of Soul and Batman stuff. What's vol 2 like?

The seller is: bohemia*rich on EBAY.  Rich Buckland is a Jan & Dean fan.  Here is a link to one one of his ads:

The info I have from when they were put out is that a Jan & Dean fan (in Washington State, if I remember correctly) got tapes from a liberty engineer and also had some acetates. He released all of these out with reasonably nice liners on CDR and also sold them through a boot dealer in Goldmine. He did a really nice job of gathering versions together for collections.

the link doesnt work any longer.Anyone selling, I have 8,9,10,11,1213. I want to complete the series.
