Who participated in "save for a rainy day"?
« on: January 04, 2010, 09:27:12 AM »
On the old forum I mentioned the fact that I had just purchased the cd mentioned above. And I also said that Dean did all the vocal parts on it. But then someone said that Karen Carpenter also sang on it. I listened to it again (very carefully) but I can't hear her voice anywhere. So who is right? Dean will certainly know, so if anyone can ask him, I'd appreciate it.

Dean's the one who tells the Karen Carpenter story. Ron Hicklin's group sang harmonies on Dean's "Yellow Balloon" . . . the same guys who also sang on Carnival of Sound.

Peter and Karen only sang on "Like A Summer Rain," that's it.
