Post Accident Concerts
« on: May 11, 2013, 05:45:18 AM »
Sitting here listening to Norwegion Wood this morning the thought occurred to me that if Jan had not had his accident there would not have been so many Jan and Dean concerts in the 80's and 90's.  Jan would have most likely moved on with his medical career and perhaps he would have done special appearances with Dean once in a while but that would most likely have been it.

Yeah, but he may have had time to produce a few more masterpieces. Who knows? I just watched the Buddy Holly Story. It's really a mistery what could have been for Jan, Buddy, Richie, etc.

Like us all God set Jan's path. The decision of the gardener to park his truck at that exact spot . The decision you made to go to the place at the exact time you turned and saw your wife the first time . Even my dad saying No you cant go wherever I was wanting to go the night DMC came on . My thinking Oh Well that cool looking car wreck is in that movie tonight. I' ll watch that. ......
