Album version UK
« on: September 24, 2010, 11:10:58 AM »
Just to let you know that the album version that I ordered in May has now arrived. It looks great - but a long time to wait. It was sent from the UK so I guess they have stock. Nothing to suggest it is a reprint.

My copy (of the LP edition) arrived this week. I had ordered it from Rhino UK (to come to Austria), but in the end gave up and ordered from the States. Not so cheap, and it took a while to come, but well worth it!

Both the CD and CD/LP package are listed on the Rhino UK site here:

http://www.rhino.co.uk/artists/view,artist_10647.htm

I am just a little unsure of ordering though in case the website is out of date etc.

I ordered from the UK website. The albums / CD are still listed on Amazon UK but currently unavaiable. The album is beautiful - well worth it.

From May till September is along time to wait for them to arrive from Rhino UK, maybe they really are handmade!

I sent a message to Rhino UK asking about stock of the CD/CDLP package and got the following reply:

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

Your requested items are currently out of stock, unfortunately a new delivery date is not known yet.

Kind regards

Hi Jason...did you ever get your vinyl copy?  I just ordered "Carnival of Sound" from Rhino....hope it comes soon...on cd.  I was tempted to get the vinyl, but just couldn't get myself to pay twice as much....

I still also need the tribute Carnival of Sound....with Robbie Douglas

Just to let you know that Amazon UK are advertising the album and Cd version again at 100 ($156.) This is clearly proving a collectors item.
